Nov 24

Hello!

This week was a crazy and a good one! I had a trade off with a
beautiful sister named Sister Waite! She is wonderful, she is so
hardworking and obedient. Her smile is so contagious and she teaches
with so simply and powerfully. We had a miracle where we went inside
the business center of our apartment complex's clubhouse to get the
wifi password. There was a lady in there and she said something like
"I've seen you around here, what's your story?" We ended up teaching
her about e Book of Mormon and the plan of salvation. It was
wonderful! Then we went to an appointment with a less active and while
we were talking to her, her friend came over and we had a pleasant
conversation with her. Maybe as the less active member starts coming
back to church we will have the opportunity to teach her friend!

On Monday this week we knocked on a man named Jean's door. He has two
children. We didn't talk to his wife but we taught him about the Book
of Mormon and he was really open to reading it and leaning more! Well,
we went back for the appointment with him and we got to meet his wife!
We took a member with us and this is where it got interesting. He was
pretty contentions and wanted to prove us wrong. It was a little scary
because he member who was with us is very passionate and bold. But
fortunately we were able to rein everyone in and it ended well.
Hopefully he can open his heart up a little bit and give place to
receive an answer. His family needs the gospel!

We got to do some really great service projects this week. We helped
the Hospice put up Christmas lights, pressure washed a house, and
moved a whole pile of dirt around someone's yard! All of which were so
fun! The family who we helped pressure wash their house thought we
were crazy that we were excited about it!

We are teaching a retired couple, Dave and Joyce. They are incredible.
We took the Bishop to a lesson with us. That was a first because our
bishop is so busy! Anyway, the lesson was incredible and Dave
especially is truly searching for truth. It is so exciting to see.
They are one of the four families who have invited us over for
Thanksgiving. They are so sweet.

Also this week we had interviews with President Craig. Oh wow. It was
so incredible! I love every opportunity that I have to be with
President Craig. He is a wonderful man. And his wife is the perfect
mission mom! She is so loving! I know that President and Sister Craig
were meant to be my mission president and wife!

Happy Fall Y'all!
Sister Kasteler
