This might be a little short. This past week there wasn't much out of the ordinary. We had a couple investigators drop us/they won't call us back. It is heartbreaking but there isn't much we can do about it besides continue to love them and pray for them. One day we were knocking doors at an apartment complex. It was gloomy and drizzly. We knocked a bunch of doors and no one was answering! Finally we knocked on the door of a lady and she let us in. She had 2 very cute children and it was wonderful talking to her about the Book of Mormon. She seemed very excited to read it and learn more. So we have an appointment with her today :)
We have this new investigator who absolutely amazing! Sister DeSpain found her on an exchange with the Sister Training leader. She loves talking to us about the gospel and is looking for a church. After we talk to her we always come out so excited! We are looking forward to watching her progress.
We also met this lady this week who shared with us her feelings about plastic being dumped in the oceans. It was an interesting visit. We didn't know exactly how to relate what she was saying to the church. She wants to find a church that is taking a stand against petroleum. She was so nice and so sweet. She even fed us some chocolate cake.
Well transfers are this week and I'm staying here in the Hendricks Avenue ward with Sister DeSpain! We weren't surprised and are excited to continue working together is this wonderful ward!
