Happy Tuesday!

This week was a really really good one. We spent Tuesday down in Archer. We followed up with an investigator that we found last week about if she had the chance to read from the Book of Mormon. And she did! That was a miracle that she read the Book of Mormon after the first time we met her. Her name is Pam and she is so nice. We were able to teach her the entire restoration and she really seemed like she was listening and interested. She is really busy with her job so that might be a slight hindrance to her progression. We visited some potential and former investigators and also a recent convert named Howard. 

Tuesday night we had the blessed opportunity to have a stake devotional with Elder Neil L. Anderson. It was amazing. Wow. He talked a lot about Jesus Christ and how he is the light of the gospel and that through him life can go on forever. He also asked everyone who was baptized after the age of eight to stand up. Wow. Here are so many people who stood up! It was amazing to me. He talked about how much courage each of those people have to accept the gospel and change their lives. He was right. It is amazing. I am also in awe of people who humble themselves and listen to the missionaries and choose to be baptized. Elder Anderson also talked about how we must be grateful that all of our friends in the south believe in Christ! And "many of our friends in the south who believe in Christ...will someday join us." It was such a wonderful opportunity for the Gainesville stake to hear from an apostle of the Lord. And what added more to our joy was that our investigator Linda was able to come and she loved it! She got to shake his hand and she told him that she is "taking the discussions" and that she enjoyed his remarks. Linda is wonderful. 

Wednesday the joy continued as we went to LAKE CITY to have a mission conference with Elder Anderson. Oh it was glorious. He talked to us about faith and how we need more faith in order to reach our goals. He talked about how baptisms don't just happen but that they always require faith. He talked about how we must not be afraid of stretching ourselves and that God does not cease to be a god f miracles. He talked to us about miracles in the scriptures and how we need to remind of ourselves all the time! Then, his wife spoke to us she said, "You have just heard an apostle of Jesus Christ speak in specifics about your mission..." Wow. That was powerful. She continued to repeat word for word some of the things that Elder Anderson said. It was amazing to think that the things he was telling us were directly from the Lord meant specifically for us. When Elder Anderson got back up to speak to us he talked about how our testimonies will ring through the eternities. The most important thing that we can do is to testify of Jesus Christ. It was a wonderful meeting. It was so happy. It was also wonderful to be in Lake City. It was like being home! I was also able to run into a couple of the members of the Deep Creek Ward. Not to mention all of the sisters that I was able to see there! Oh is was glorious!

Thursday we had a great lesson with Linda! She fed us dinner and then we answered some of the questions she had. She it truly searching for truth and it is so exciting to teach her! Right after that we had an appointment with a couple and it was almost completely opposite. They have lots of questions but their hearts are not softened. It was a black and white difference. I love all of them so much. 

 The rest of the week was spent biking and visiting some wonderful people! Yesterday, we went to the family history center with a lady named Maggie. She isn't super interested in the gospel yet, but she loves family history! If anything is going to soften her heart, it is the spirit of Elijah!

Yes, transfers are this week! We had a little transfer scare but it ended up being a mistake! I will spend the last transfer of my mission in the Gainesville 2 Ward with Sister Wright. I am so grateful. I love Sister Wright. We have so many more adventures and lessons to learn together! So many miracles are about to happen!
